Service Canada is launching a national employment campaign to recruit Senior Program Development Officers.

As a part of Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), Service Canada is one of the largest and most diverse organizations in the federal Public Service, and has been recognized as one of “Canada’s 100 Top Employers (2021).” We offer flexible work arrangements, supportive training and career development, and a comprehensive benefits package to promote a healthy workplace with engaged employees.

ESDC is focused on improving best practices to support the recruitment, retention and advancement of Indigenous peoples. Some of the initiatives currently in place are the Indigenous Peer Support Program, the Indigenous Mentoring Program and the Indigenous Recruitment, Retention and Advancement Committee. Additionally, ESDC takes pride in its support and recognition of the Indigenous Employees’ Circle (IEC). The IEC is a national forum for Indigenous employees of ESDC to network and to connect with their Indigenous colleagues across the country.
